A masterpiece belonging together with the likes of Fallout 2, Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate and Pillars of Eternity. Very much improved over their previous title of Kingmaker. This one offers more character builds, rich story arches and fluid world and story.
As a nostalgia driven adult who played the original as a kid, I really enjoyed the game, even if mostly simple. I do believe it builds a great narrative throughout, however all of that is completely destroyed by the game's ending. Worst ending I've experienced since Mass Effect 3.
Managed to play 20 hours before I simply got bored. It's ok, which for Obsidian standards is very disappointing. The game really takes itself being not serious too seriously.
