One of the worst "remasters" (in this case I would rather call it a DEmaster instead) I've ever seen. Definitive Edition is literally a disgrace to the original Mafia 2. Very good game but only a pretty good remake. Why? I absolutely didn't like changing the characters' personalities, making all of them younger, cutting the great content like Lucas' missions, ruining some of the missions by doing them in corridor-ish style which made them super linear (just like Mafia 2 missions), shortening the game in general, most of the animations taken alive from Mafia 3, many iconic songs missing etc... This game just can't stand next to the masterpiece that Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven is. So, in my opinion - on its own it's 8/10 game, although it's 6/10 as a remake. Thanks 2K for not giving H13 enough time and ruining something that could've been absolutely great.
