I'll never forget this game, it played such a huge role in my childhood. A friend of my mothers introduced me to it, and let me tell you this is one of the best PC games that existed back then. The voice acting is phenomenal, the graphics & cutscenes were well ahead of their time, the music & sound effects are mesmerizing, etc. This is a 3D story/narrative driven game that presents you with choices... but not in the way you might think. You don't select dialogue, you interact with the world and the order in which you do said interactions can either lead you down dead ends, separate paths, various endings, etc. I'm a game developer myself... and I loved this game so much that I actually put a reference to it in my own game (the MC's dog is named Maggie, and he says "Maggie... c'mere girl!" Trust me when I say that this game is awesome. There's no filler or "mini-games," it's pure story content with lots of different paths, secrets, interesting dialogue, and some tense moments of linear action events (yes, you get to shoot the gun... basically).
