Fallout: London

Easily one of the best mods out there.

I got the game on GOG, mod download was very simple. I will say however that the Steam version downgrader is a bit weird, and might be too "unsafe" for some. Had 0 crashes so far, no major bug beside the usual FO4 vanilla ones. Although a friend of mine did struggle a lot to get the game working. I know part of the struggle has to do with Bethesda recent update messing things up, but it doesn't change how much of a mess it is for some people, especially with the optional mods. Game itself is really good. The environment is top notch and really makes you want to explore it with it's gritty and almost dystopian vision of London. The characters and factions are interesting and the overall "British" vibes are masterfully done. The VA's are a bit hit or miss, but (as of yet) nothing horrible or amateurish. Combat can be a bit bland at time due to many re-used enemies like ghouls and mirelurks, but many of the new animations for weapons are absolutely phenomenal and the new foes you might encounter are pretty good. My only complaint would be the groans of your character when using melee (which you do a lot) and the Protectron lines being really unpleasant. Some of the optional writing like terminals and such can also feel under-cooked. All in all, this mod (when it works) certainly delivers on it's goal of offering a fully fleshed out experience in a new, foreign world. If it was a game in itself I paid, I'd give it a 7/10. As a mod you get for free? Easy 9/10.
