I got this game during an HB with Android. I wasn't expecting much, but this game is just amazing. It looks simplistic, and it is, but this game is deceptively simplistic. It is insanely difficult and simply tons of fun. I am so glad that it is on GOG now. This is a game that I usually turn to when I don't know what else to play. It is simply a game that I can get into no matter what I'm doing. If you want pure fun, buy it.
I love Frictional's games. When I bought Penumbra on Steam, I didn't know exactly what to expect, what I found was an amazingly deep game with some of the best horror elements and stories. I soon bought Amnesia. Be warned, Frictional's games are NOT for the faint of heart. I honestly preferred Penumbra over Amnesia (especially early on), primarily because of the story. Penumbra's story tended to draw me in very quickly, Amnesia seemed to do that less so, but it did get much better in the end. Overall, they are great games. Requiem is alright, just don't really expect much of a story, it's more just puzzles. There is a slight storyline to it (hard to call it that really) that works to "explain" some things, but it really doesn't do anything but add some atmosphere. I'm definitely buying Penumbra here on GOG and supporting DRM free!
