Overall i liked the interactive story. The voice acting was pretty much flawless and i found the art style charming, the in game music was also very fitting and I liked most of the dialog. I however have a few gripes with some of the interactions. I found the static screeching noises pretty annoying and sometimes i was given pretty much zero time to choose a dialog response. I found the whole tape winding mechanic quite pointless I don't even know why it was in the game i guess just busy work? I found the story a bit dense in places and the character movement was kind of slow and tedious. I felt they fell short on the interactivity aspect, gating the players ability to progress and discover behind story events. I personally would have had much more fun if they plopped me down said here are your tools, figure it out and perhaps added a few neat puzzles into the mix instead of useless mechanics and too much hand holding.
