If you keep having it crash to desktop turn Vsync on and set fps to 60, for me i turned on vsync in Nvidia control panel and it seems to have fixed my crashing issue. I can't really call it a mod as it is a fully fleshed out game with voice acting, new model, radio and a full story its very well made.
