I haven't played SH4 since Sept 2004 when it launched (I have the Xbox version) and really enjoyed how different this was compared to SH1-3. My only gripes now and back then were the ghosts not being able to die (unless you use a candle or Sword to keep them in place and also those things that come out the walls and can swipe you across the room. The soundtrack is killer and I almost prefer it to the perfect SH2 score, but what is kind of a letdown is the majority of it isn't in the game and only on CD/vinyl/streaming, but it's incredible to listen to outside of the game.
I haven't played Resident Evil 3: Nemesis since 1999 on PlayStation. I'm having a great time playing Mercenaries and trying to best my score on each run! This is my first time playing the PC version and overall, it still looks and feels like RE3 and I'm not using any mods as I want to retain the original visuals.
I still own my complete copy in the box with the strategy guide and it stands the test of time. When I first seen the graphics, back in 1999, I was completely blown away; was totally engrossed with the characters and story, the multiple endings kept me coming back for replayability, and the atmosphere is perfect and feels like you're in the movie. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
