Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark

Good but lacking

I really whanted to like this game. To combat is enjoyable, the class/subclass sistem is fun to discover and the customizable party is allwyas a plus for me. The characters are ok and the story is bland, it serve the purpouse of putting you in several combat situations. However, the RNG is very infuriating and the grinding you need to farm xp/lvl up your classes/characters it is what killed it for me. Every time one character dies, it gets an injury. This injury stacks if he dies again withou healing. Each stack of injury gives penalty to the stats, damage, etc and the only way to heal is for him to not participate in a combat scenario. So either you need to go to low lvl maps to grind in order to heal your injuder characters, or have a gigant roster of characters so you can rotate in each mission, but if you have a gigant roster of characters you still need to grind anyway to get money, equipments and lvl up the charctares/classes so they can be of any use. Anyway, fun game with to many mechanincs for you to waste a lot of time. More than I cared to invest in the game.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Ambitious

My coolest videogame moment was when I replayed this game for the first time, choosing a diferent option at the end of Act 1. The story is really complex. If you pay attention and have some knowlege of the books this game starts to click and really make sense. And I can't explain how incredibly it feels. If you know nothing of the books you are "roleplaying" as amnesia Geralt ( or Witcher 1 Geralt), and you will be able to enjoy quite a lot of the game. BUT if you have some knowlege of the books you beguin to feel like post-amnesia Geralt ( Witcher 2 Geralt) and things starts to make sense. I don't know if it was intentional or pure luck, but it is a pretty cool way to reward you if you are paying attention to the story or even read the books. The most ambitious game I ever played, even if it falls short in some areas. Definitely worth it! P.S.: If you do buy it, please complete the game more than one time. Choosing Yorveth (non-humans) and BRoach ( humans) path. You will not regret it =)

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The beginning of a monster

It is very hard to get into this game. If you can get used to the combat and get trough the first hour and a half ( tutorial and first part of act 1) you will probably find yourself pleasantly surprised. Most of the sidequests of this game end up contributing for the mais story, meaning they are not exatcly side quests, but if you can meet this game on its own terms, you will expirience one of the best storys I ever played in a video game. Great characters, an intriguing world and a game that made me completly rethink the entire game and how I played it after i completed. If you are even a bit interested, take a look. I think you will be surprised. . P.S.: If you have played or dont mind spoilers, take a look at the Joseph Anderson Critique of this game. Its 4 hours long, but definitly worth it!

AMID EVIL

Great level design

Loved the game. Wish there were more tipes of weapons, but what we got are preety fun and each one feels very different than the other. Great enemy variaty, combat and sound are preety good, but i think where this game truly shines is in the great leve design. That combined with the the great visuals ( not only pixelated but really pretty and well done) makes the experience worth it. The game is short, completed it in about 10 hours on hard. So great do pick up and play a bit if your are short on time.
