As a long time Falcom and Ys fan... This Falcom's best game since the classic Trails games, and a return to form. Gameplay wise, jumping and sprinting from older Ys games return. And not only that, there're also Solo sections like the solo Ys games of old. Basically, this game is the perfect mix between old and new. Fast action packed ARPG at it's best. Story wise, this game is quite have for a Ys game, as they usually tend to be more gameplay focused, however the Story in this game is Falcom's best since Ao no Kiseki. It's Characters are also really good, with Dana being the best Falcom Character since Estelle from Trails in the Sky. If Falcom can keep this up, Ys will have both amazing gameplay and story ;) Now, on the technical side, this game used to be a bit troublesome, but now that Durante got his Hands on it, everything should be fine. As for what i didn't like in the game... Honestly, the ending. If it wasn't for the last hour or so, i would rate this game a 10/10, but the last hour (including the final boss battle) are kinda weak. 9/10
