Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Good idea, lousy implementation

The medieval setting is a great idea, but the implementation, especially the controls via controller or keyboard/mouse on the PC, not only leave a lot to be desired - they are frustrating and cause a lot of aggression. Regardless of whether you are fighting, picking locks, moving through the area or interacting with objects: It either hangs or gets stuck. You get stuck somewhere very quickly and die every now and then due to stupidity. For example, I've been stuck on the ridiculous, boring prologue for two days(!) now and am on the verge of simply abandoning the game. There's no joy in playing, you feel like you “have to” complete it because otherwise you simply can't go on. Fortunately, I bought this game before the sequel to get an impression. I immediately deleted the sequel from my wish list. Many of the control implementations could have been copied from Skyrim. Or Witcher 3, but this one is simply an imposition.
