Being a DIK - Season 1

Best western VN

This game is a great visual novel, you might buy this for the erotic stuff and nice girls but in the end you will find a great story, some amazing and likeable characters, the mini games are fun and there are a lot of choices, and the music are awesome (lot of rock). I played this season 1 and I didn't see the time pass. The nice part is the humour, the game has a lot of funny dialogues or scenes, like for exemple the sex/gender studies class is a lot of laugh, Derek is also a crazy character. For the story you re a student who's coming to college for his 1st year, and you re going to meet a lot of different people with their own (and well done) stories, the main character is going to try to join a fraternity called the DIK and joinging them won't be easy. Of course there a some sex scenes in the game, but they are nice (I mean you won't find any weird stuff) and some are even very romantic.

Partisans 1941 Extended Edition

Great game, more than just a Commando

So let's be clear: if you loved Commando games, Desperados games or Shadow Tactics you will love Partisan 1941. Why ? Because this game is awesome and it's not just a Commando on the Eastern Front. What is different you might ask ? -some RPG elements (each character earns XP and have a skill tree) -different maps because it's Russia so it's new and fresh compared to Commando (lot of forest, small villages etc) -it's realistic (you have to manage food, ammunitions, treat your wounds etc) -the action parts are kind of like in Company of Heroes and it's well done -you have a camp in the forest and you have to manage your camp between missions (build stuff like equipement or buildings, send partisans on missions etc) For the action part I said it's kind of like Company of Heroes, yes because you can put your partisans behind cover et for exemple set an ambush on German troops. If your characters are not behind a cover they will die very fast if you engage in a fight (the game is kind of hard) but behind a cover they will have some protection. Of course stealth is here and you can play stealthy most of the game, but if you want some action (smart action because you have to think how you re going to do this and where to place your characters) it works too. Realism is here, all the weapons are true, vehicules are true too, you will fight Germans of course but also some Russian "hiwis" (Soviets collaborators), your characters are speaking Russian (with english, french, spansih etc subtitles) and the Germans are speaking German (with no subtitles for more realism). Just buy this game you will love it. PS: yes the game was made by Russians, but let's not be political here, it's made by a small team who love videogames not by Putin, it has nothing to do with the war made by Putin and his army. People who say it's propaganda we can also say that Commando is propaganda for the Allied. It's just a game and a good one so leave politics ou of here please and enjoy the game.

Order of Battle: Morning Sun

Great DLC

Morning Sun starts in 1937 when Japan attacked Beijing (Beiping) in China, so that means we have here a lot of pre WW2 units, for exemple the Chinese army have some FT17 tanks (French WW1 tanks !!!), a lot of pre WW2 old planes. The Chinese have a bigger number but their army is crappy and not very well equiped, they use mostly some imported armamement like Italians canons, German Panzer I, Soviet T-26 1933 Version tanks, English Hawke III planes or Soviet Polikarpov planes, on the other hand the Japanese have less soldiers but their equipement is more modern and better, they have a good infantry (they can do Banzai charges), they have some pre WW2 tanks like the Type 89 etc. So we have a lot of old stuff and equipement and that's very funny to play because it's different from what we know, for most of us we only know the stuff from WW2 so here we can learn and see something new. The missions are nice, we have 2 missions with some landings on the coast of China but it's mostly some heavy infantry fights on the mainland of China and that's pretty much cool. And you can keep your army and import it to Rising Sun. So buy Morning Sun and Rising Sun and play it one after another.
