I purchased this game on my Honeymoon, I had taken along a copy of PC gamer with me and the review for this game left me begging for it. I purchased and looked forward to checking it out on my return, man I tried so hard to like this but god damn it I just could not get into it, tried on many occasions. Now you just cant get a game without XP, or choice this choice that, FPS's used to be all about action and excitement, not RPG style grinding and decision making! They told a story with you as the action hero. Not a fan of this game yet I know I am outnumbered.
I avoided this back in 99... Was a bit of a graphics whore at the time (still am to a certain extent :-) ) and just could not get past the poor presentation, even for the time!!.. I toyed with playing it for many years but could never bring myself to do so. I'm glad there are a few reviews in here that reviewed it from todays perspective rather than that of nostalgia otherwise I would have already clicked buy. Man I just am still not sure I could see this through.
