This game is unworthy of the name 4x. AI is boring to play against, the artstyle is at the same time overwhelming and uninspired, animations are janky, unit balance is out of whack, UI is underwhelmingly chunky to use and the battle ui is devoid of any meaningful challenge. A 4x game that bored me after 20 hours, where I could sink thousands of hours into total wars, stellaris and civ games. It's not a bad game by any stretch - there are games that deserve the term "bad" far more, it's just meh, at least for me - if you want it, get it at a hefty discount, it's definitely not worth the full price I paid for it.
