I've played the first three in order, and the first was my favourite. Each subsequent game lost my interest more and more, but SH4 broke that pattern. I love this game for its atmosphere, visuals, music, janky combat, characters, and the first half of the gameply loop. A messy 10/10, and a lovely end to the Team Silent Quadrology.
