The optimisation of this port is just abysmal. The biggest issue I encountered was a significant FPS drop. While game could provide almost steady 60 FPS, every minute or so a 5-10 FPS drop would pop up, which does not affect the experience that much, apart from somewhat jittery sound, still not extremely pleasant. But in about 40-60 minute mark of every session, FPS dropped to as low as 12. Although my i7-1280P + RTX 3060 with 16 Gb of RAM are not top of the line however, I would expect it to be sufficient for a 2016 game. The only remedy I could find online for this issue was a restart, which returns the game to a 60 FPS mark. Can’t comment on keyboard & mouse controls, since I was using DualShock 4. To deliver the story and beautiful acting, the game is so heavily directed that it is more like an interactive movie. I think I would enjoy it more if I were just a spectator, not an active player. I can hardly count blend and repetitive shootouts followed by QTEs and platforming as an actual gameplay. And every occasional falling ledge or platform to keep up the action and pacing did not add to my experience. Action scenes, where you escape in the nick of time, become boring quite fast, and they are numerous in this game.
