Devs, you do realize that Quake — yes, Quake, from 1996 — let players remap mouse buttons? Right? Are you absolutely sure you know that? It took me over two hours of third-party tools, scripts, black magic and input voodoo just to jump using RMB. X-Mouse Button Control finally did the trick — but the taste left behind? It’s like chasing surströmming with cauliflower water. Technically functional. Emotionally devastating. I refuse to accept that in 2025, jumping with the right mouse button is considered a modding challenge
