Starts off great, but..

Pros The game started off really well, setting the scene, the exploration, dialogue etc. Overall it's a good game, but as you progress, the pacing takes a nosedive. Cons The underwater segments are beyond boring and most of the "monsteres" are just a stupid time wasters, These things really put the brakes on any momentum you start to build up. Without those two cons it would be a 4.5* game for me.

Fun game, Very enjoyable

I've been reading alot of reviews and one thing that strikes me the most is a thing that nearly all the reviews mention, Thats how much fun the game is. I've only played up to the first boss, so essentially the first map, the quite large gardens and a couple of the dungeon instances. Once you travel to an area, it is open on the map and you can always teleport to that place from the hub, so you are never more than a minute from any previously explored place. I like the fact that you dont just play through a dungeon and move on, each dungeon appears to also have a set of (I think 5) challenges and a number of hidden areas that you need to find, so that always adds extra replayability and a reason to return to older areas. The combat is very fluid, I really liked the precision of the controller, there are a nice bunch of weapons and skills to choose from which for me are the major fun points of the game, I also like the verticalty of the game. There are ways to craft in the game but I am not high enough level to do that though, so I cannot comment on it, but from what I understand you place a number of items together in a transmoter and it fuses them into a new item of better quality. So, its back to the fun pit for me now, thanks for reading.
