Agree with other reviews on the difficulty and RNG. Mods are available to help address this, but the GOG version of DD is so old that few if any mods will work for it. Newest GOG version appears to be 24839, from 4yrs and 35 patches ago. From what I can tell the current version of DD is 6678186.
This is really just a pre-scripted storybook to click through, with no conversation options. The only real interaction is to occasionally make the requested drinks, whilst listening to the story. Making drinks is very simple and doesn't usually require much thought, so it's a brief delay in clicking through the story conversation. There are a few drink-making mini-games aside from story mode, but making drinks is so simple that these just feel unfinished and uninspired. I really like the artwork and chill factor. Just know that this is more of a slow relaxing storybook than a game, so it's not for everyone.
