Cyberpunk 2077

Great game

Great game but not as much as I expected. If you had played Witcher 3 you want a gane as big as that.

Fragile Allegiance

It's a great game

TL;DR; A very good 4X game, with a decent manual and its own soundtrack along the package. K-240 fans will almost immediately feel like home. Full Review: It is not K-240. It is like a sequel and it is incredible! I remember myself playing a game named K-240 on my Amiga as a teen, spending my nights losing sleep time and my father without patronizing me, staying at my side watching, sometimes on the beginning asking what is what. And he was enjoying just watching me playing it then suggesting or reminding me things. Some things have changed from back then. Father isn't with us anymore. But those memories are. K-240 is a very important game for me and thus the sequel should better be nice. So here I am, trying Fragile allegiance and I instantly feel like home. Well almost like home because graphics on Amiga had a little more vivid colors, but to be honest they were giving a cartoon like feeling, so the more dull palette makes it more realistic I guess. Gameplay can be considered almost exact. Explore space, do geo-surveys, mine for ore, spy, attack with fleets, missiles or both, build space stations-ships, trade ore, take care of everything.Sci-TEc is here to get our blueprints... yes. Everything is here. But wait, there is more, like the new building for people having fun which is a good add on Diplomacy, trade on markets, underground information channels all of them play their role and random events make things spicy if you want to. Buttons are fixed with higher resolution. Small difference. Sci-Tec is a little dull, I mean I prefer research systems like the one in X-com games (the first ones) but blueprints were also an OK feature. You just don't get surprise research results or something. Overall this game deserves your attention and your money and it aged well I guess. Not to mention the fair price is is marketed for a DRM free version. So yeah it is a solid 4/5 but pardon me, giving it a 5/5 as a huge fan becoming a teenager once again. I miss my father.

Schizm: Mysterious Journey

A game that deserves your time.

I remember getting it for free in two DVDs from a PC magazine. It was in Greek that was a big deal back then and I really enjoyed the first DVD from both sides of the riddle. That because the second DVD was stuck and never went on to finish it and I was really annoyed, because I loved it, but now here comes GOG. At last I am gonna play it and finish it. This genre does not age well, if you seek breathtaking graphics try something else. If you would like a casual explore and solve puzzles experience, with beautiful fantasy landscapes, that show their age, including a spectacular soundtrack, then the game is for you.

No Man's Sky

I still don't bite the bait.

$68.04 for fooling the whole game community? You got a lot of nerve to ask for THAT amount of money. Get real. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Never fooled me though. I never bought your game. When I heard of what it is gonna be, I was like "How? How are they gonna make this marvel come true in such a small period of time?" And I was right. It's 2019 and game still sucks on comparison to what it was told it would be. There might be a probability to buy this for $7 (90% discoult) but there are upcoming games deserving my attention, not to mention my money. So nah!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Best game I have ever played.

GOG Galaxy says I played 83 hours and I find it accurate. I played whatever side quest I felt like, by following the main story. I intended not to play GWENT at all, since it can trap you for hundreds of hours alone. I play video games since I was 5. That will be 33 years including 2019. I have played many RPGs, being an old school gamer I really enjoy well written characters and stories told well. Good music and spectacular graphics can lift the whole experience of course, but they can not make a bad game look good alone. I haven't started any of the expansions but I think that I will really enjoy them both. What a coincidence. I am 38 years old, it took me 83 hours to finish it. On my first try, got the good ending, I really enjoyed that my decisions contributed to what is gonna happen. There were lots of things that could be done before the end of the main story, that can affect the ending (politics) and a lot more to be done I guess on the expansions. Bottom line, The Withcer 3 Wild Hunt is an incredible game. It is a straight punch to filthy greedy companies that create broken games with a load of hype to profit, showing no respect to the gamer. I am glad I paid for this game. City Project Red earned my respect. Can't wait to see Cyberpunk 2077 now. Probably the only game that can possibly compare to Witcher's epicness. Not to mention, NO DRM, NO bugs, NO micro-transaction DLCs, NO Season Pass bullcrap. Straight honest deal of content.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

It'ss not as good as expected back then.

When Bethesda bought the fraanchise. Fallout 2 fans worried that they would waste the franchise. They did partly making a game like Oblivion, for casual gaming. That was not what fallout meant to be. I give credit to them for learning from their mistakes. New Vegas was good. And then Fallout 4 came out. Not as good as it should be. So why 3 stars? Well what do you expect? Giving 5 stars to Witcher 3 I MUST show how far Fallout 3 is from the competition.Yeah it's an old game. It's not about the graphics though. It's about the consequences, the rpg elements. There aren't any. Only a few light choices that you always know what is right or wrong. Nothing gray. Nothing to lose my sleep thinking of it. And Bethesda is asking for $22.68 for this. I see. They are nuts. Because hey, I have seen the Morrowind price too. Too expensive for what it is, pretty small in my opinion, not as good as Fallout 2, poor design, but a good idea.

Unreal Tournament 2004 Editor's Choice Edition

Refuses to run on Windows 10

A bug before it loads makes it unplayable at least for my system. I am really sad about this one.

Heroes of Might and Magic® 4: Complete

A great game but it crashes all the time

During battle, there are times that the game crashes. It is really annoying to save all the time because of the fear of losing your progress and it is also annoying to have to actually terminate the application yourself when it crashes, to relaunch it again. In any case, the game is the best of the series in my opinion, but with a HOMAM3 with both expansions competing against it really hard. In any case, if the game will be fixed, I will give it the stars it really deserves.

Starbound

A good game.

So, I don't own it on GOG yet, but I got the Early Access on Steam on the first month the game was released. You have a lot of things to do, that will reward you. You can explore planets to get books and logs and add them to your codex, then read and unravel stories, history and mysteries of places you visited. You can make stuff, you can get weapons of all kind and cool gadgets to aid you. Crafting system is interesting and there are lots of things to make. You can upgrade your ship and you can really enjoy a sandbox game. What surprised me was how much they enhanced the game (it was really laggy, they fixed that) and also how great it feels. They also added a scenario. THAT addition was great as a step by step indirect guide - tutorial to the sandbox experience. The bad thing about this, is that people do a huge mistake. They forget that Starbound started as a sandbox game with not any solid concrete scenario at start. Sure you could find books to add to your codex but that's it. And then came pepole that said that the scenario is too small. Well of course, after finishing the scenario you continue to the sandbox experience and that is what I personally was expecting really. If you need a game with huge scenario you better choose another game. That does not really stop the developers to enhance it but version 1 is good enough in my opinion. Gameplay is okay I guess, you get used to it. Graphics are beautyful, still simple and neat. It still keeps me interested as of a replayability value. It has a lot of things to do. It might be very irritating though the fact that you lose all your previous saves before V1. Overall I give it a 4/5, because there is still room for imrovement. I mean, Starbound developers can add some more scenario and conent, fix some (rare) minor technical issues , and overall make it as big as other games are. V1 though deserves those 4 stars, it is decent and I believe some of us were too strict, maybe because of the huge waiting time.
