No Man's Sky

No Man's Lie

Two months after release and only one minor patch? That is not okay. The game performs very poorly, and none of the content in the marketed images is actually there. No factions, no diverse planets, no portals, no sandworms, and no real gameplay. This is the epitome of false advertising. Even the images on the store page are still false! Do not let yourself be fooled by the fervor of fanboys, this is more of an excercise in marketing than a game. If I could still get a refund, I would. I held out in the hopes that Sean Murray, the creator, would at least live up to his promise of regular updates adding content. Instead, he has gone into hiding as a result of the reaction to his uncovered lies. There are countless videos chronicling the endless list of lies. No, not false promises, outright LIES. The developers and the publisher have blatantly lied to everyone about what this "game" encompasses. Look it up if you don't believe me, it would take more space than I am permitted here to describe every last lie. Bottom line? Do not give money to these scam artists. If you need a space simulator, wait for Star Citizen. At least they have been 100% transparent and willing to interact with the community.
