When I first purchased this game (at a hefty discount), I figured it would be something like Seed of the Dead. That was my first mistake. The game is technically functional, but it still feels like a beta build of an unfinished game. When the second enclosed space has a gap you can easily traverse through and fall to your death, it doesn't inspire much confidence. The platforming feels a bit jank, although that could be a result of me not taking the time to practice. And to be fair, you'll need to practice. I had a lot of deaths that felt completely unfair to me; moments where I got stunlocked by enemy projectiles, and I personally find mob enemies with instakill attacks to be a lazy way to artificially inflate the difficulty. Which, admittedly, there is a dodge mechanic; but in most areas you will fall to your death if you use it because the level design evokes memories of Marbles on Stream. And my God, if you can't put vehicles in your game that control like anything other than a brick, don't put them in. Full disclosure, I didn't even make it through level 4 before I had enough. I just wasn't having fun. I wouldn't even call what I was doing "playing", as that suggests enjoying oneself. And maybe I missed a patch or something, but I didn't catch any NSFW content aside from gore. So, y'know, that felt kind of misleading.
