The combat has a bit of a learning curve, and i had to remap some keys to make it enjoyable. After i mastered it became very satisfaying! I really liked the story, and especially loved the interactions with Hans Capon. The game gives you a lot of freedom in how you can approach all of the quests , but whatever you do, just make sure to not pull captain Bernard's pizzle!
Best enjoyed with mods to fix poor design choices and gamebreaking bugs.
