This game is more about micromanaging your troops, rather than the macromanaging in Kingdom. So don't expect a copy paste game even if the core gameplay it's similar, this game is completely different and it's important that you know, that this won't be the same experience as kingdom's games, so if you did enjoy Kingdom, you may not like this one and vice versa. I'll be explaining this in more detail, so if you don't want to read more, the game's great, give a try to the demo, wich will only give you the basic stuff, but at least you'll know if you enjoy it. The game ressembles the Kingdom's saga gameplay but yet it has some changes that make this a completely unique game, that even though the core gameplay is the same as Kingdom, it's not the same experience. So i would recommend you try the demo first, wich will give you a very basic idea of how it works, because if you did or even if you did not enjoy the Kingdom games, this one could be your type. This game is faster than the kingdom ones. Mostly because you're the one giving orders instead of just paying for the things your army will need, wich may seem like a tiny detail, but it just makes the game so much different to play. Your "Captain"/"Commander" that you'll controll can directly give orders to follow, build, recollect and even kill, wich if you played kingdom, it makes your pressence so much more important, you can make your troops retreat before an incoming horde obliterates them. And if that wasn't enough, you have a weapon to support with the defense, so you're not dependant on your troops all the time. The hero you select determines the passive skill (like regenerating stamina when picking up food) and the weapon (Shotgun, rifle, etc.). One important thing to know is that even if you die you'll be progressing, you'll be unlocking some new stations, getting ways to improve your troops. Overall this is a beautiful game... I wish it had some customization (like hair color, clothes).
