Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

It's good.

What a great game! I initially started playing D:OS because I didn't want to play D:OS II without having played the first one. Typically, when I start playing a series, because of wanting to play them all, I tend to rush through them, as I want to get to the latest entry as quickly as possible. Not this time. I took my time, searching every nook and cranny, and never skipped a dialogue. The graphics are nice and clean, with a fitting style. The music is awesome! Definitely not your ordinary soundtrack. Combat is great, but it takes forever sometimes (one of my biggest gripes with the game). Dialogue is well written, and the characters delivering said dialogue come in all shapes and sizes. The story can be a bit complicated at times, and I sometimes lost track of why a certain character was special, but despite it being an end-of-the-world story, I thought the execution was pretty original. All in all, I can highly recommend this game! Flaws are few, and mainly nitpicking. If you choose to play the game, you'll find an incredibly rich fantasy world, where every road will lead to something truly unexpected. I, for example, didn't anticipate seeing a dude sun-bathing next to a parasol on the beach, killing a man for having lost his voice... It's good.
