Battle Chef Brigade Deluxe

A charming and beautiful game

The game is both looks and sounds amazing, it's cozy and warm. The gameplay is bright, fast-paced, and very enjoyable. The story and characters are bright, engaging, and super fun. A pleasure overall.

En Garde!

A very fun atmospheric game

The game is beautifully done, with the noticeable focus on everything that matters. The combat is impeccable, the visuals are charming, it hits all the right notes.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Absolutely Amazing!

The visual and sound design of the game is absolutelly stunning, it is miticulous in the best way possible. The story and the dialogs are compelling, and the variety and uniqueness of quests even in the first location reminds of the best genre. The infamous shooting experience of the first game has been thoroughly corrected, the firearms are a lot more predictable and way more satisfying to use, while maintaining a solid level of realism in how they handle. Performance suffers in places, but I'm sure this will be addressed sooner rather than later. Overall, given the circumstances of development, the game is utterly stunning and just overwhelming in its scale. Love it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Standard Edition

Exceeds expectations

Honestly, this is the first game in years to come out in a state this good, I think. I'm running it on 3070GTX and it looks INCREDIBLE. The visual design is amazing, but sound? Oh my god, the sound! The shooting, notorious in the first game, is absolutely top notch. Guns handle much more predictably, and headshots sound (and feel) so much more satisfying. The interface, the side quests, the dialog - it shows why this game has been in the oven as long as it has (aside from the obvious factor of the development circumstances) Honest to god 5 stars, shame it didn't make the GOTY list.

Prodeus

It's incredibly fun

For the past decade my experience with first person shooters have been extremely underwhelming. Prodeus is probably the first game aside from Doom and Doom Eternal that actually got my blood pumping. I find many things about this game to be done absolutely flawlessly. The sound design is on top of my list, and you may think "If sound design is the best thing about your FPS game then it's a bad FPS game" and you'd be wrong. It's just that the sound in Prodeus is absolutely stellar, I can't name a single game that would so consistently shake me to my core with every vibration my headphones produce. The visuals are amazing as well, they seem to somehow set the expectations at first when you just start playing the game, and then also surpass those same expectations they've just set. I don't know how the creators did it, but they did and it works. Absolutely love it. Levels in the campaign that are available at the time of me writing this review are incredibly designed, and fit seemlessly with your weapon progression. The bigger battle arenas masterfully utilize the impecable movement creators implemented for your enjoyment, paired with incredibly satisfying weapons, and juicy, meaty enemies. The lowest point of this game is honestly its menu design, but I could not possible care less about it. I also didn't seem to notice any performance issues some other reviews mention, but that might be because I'm late to the party and those have been fixed. Bottom line is - if every time another Call of Duty ad trailer pops up in your social media feed you feel any degree of nausea, Prodeus just might be the cure.
