Really enjoying this. Lots of fun platforming, great bosses, fun story. Feel like it's gonna have good replay value too, as theres already stages I've gone back to get higher rank on..
I want to like this game, but I can't even play it. The gamepad support is completely busted. I don't know why it would be on my side; I've got a standard Xbox One pad on Windows 11. Nothing weird. Buttons are referenced by number and the default action button is the start. Retooling the controls is the first obstacle. Once you've done that, the "twin stick" aspect is broken completely. The axis of aim flips when you move the stick and the direction flops when you press triggers. For some reason when you hold a trigger it converts the right stick to a loose up/down aim function, but that's a 4 point activity for the fingers to do basic game input. I spent 20 minutes trying to finagle this "hold trigger, aim shield" and it didn't work so I couldn't even get through the tutorial. I guess I'll have to try it on a pc with a mouse and keyboard like someone in 1995
