SKALD lives up to its promise: story-rich, engaging and challening adventure. Where other CRPG feel monotonous and superficial, SKALD feels intriguing and personal. You can't go wrong with this game. The music and effects are great, and the pixel style adds a heart-warming sense to this, otherwise, very dark story.
A staple of dungeon-crawling games, Diablo settled the basis for the adventure titles that came after and up to this day. It's simplicity and straightforward design makes it enjoyable for gamers of all paths. A timeless classic!
