When people say "unapologetic rip-off," this is what they mean. This is Alone in the Dark. Like, not "kind of." They replaced Edward Carnby with a guy who looks kinda like TJ Miller (and whoever the girl character is), and that's it. The gameplay video even leaves in all the glitchy wonder that we marveled at back in 1995, but not so much now... twenty years later. I dunno. It's just *weird,* I guess. The product description also has an unusually strong copyright statement. I'm assuming so that nobody makes a game 20 years from now called "Townhouse of Terror" or something.
