I fell in love with this game around it's release, at which time I was still a kid. Part of what gripped me was the way the story was told and how alive the game felt. The gameplay is, to this day, unique and one I really enjoy. If you invest a lot of time, mechanics could start to feel a little flat, especially for multiplayer (although perfectly playable), but I highly suggest you play through the campaign. A remake would be the absolute pinnacle of the RTS genre.
