I remember how I ran to hide under my couch when I first saw the opening scene (both the intro itself and the first seconds of gameplay) of RE2. Thanks to GOG, I get to confront my childhood fears in a surprisingly well oiled windowed version, where I can easily alt tab into my desktop or something, instead of hiding under said couch.
I got this with the expectation that the controls would be clunky, weird compatibility settings needed, full screen throwing my desktop icons around in low resolution mode, but nope. Keys are customizable, windowed mode is on, just haven't figured out how to move to a different screenbut that's okay. I'm *eating* the sandwich.
