Unruly Heroes

What a pleasant surprise...

...this game was for me. I surely did not have this gem on my radar. I would describe this game as a jump'n'run platformer with a nice fighting/combo mechanics. The artstyle can be compared to Ori and the Blind Forest, although Ori had more details in the level design etc. But the overall look of UNRULY HEROES feels very well done. The animations are fluid as is the gameplay. Direct controls, no lag. And what I should have mentioned at first: the game was fun from the beginning. You can choose between four characters, where I would say, you have 2 different characters concerning playstyle. One pair can double jump, the other pair can hover. Of course, when it comes to special ability, every character of the four has their own. Talking difficulty, I would place this title on the middle or lower end. With the four characters representing one "life" and the possibilty to regain that life very easily after dying, the game is very forgiving. I play on the middle difficulty and had no problems with progressing, yet. Also I am no casual gamer, I am surely no pro gamer. What else is left to say besides: Enjoy and have fun.
