...it's still haunting me! I never played a game again that has such a great atmosphere. The shooting, the occult setting, the puzzling, the cut scenes with real people, the story - all combined in a real thrill of horror. You'll always have a lack of ammo and heal potions, so you sneak through the levels. Always in tension. The setting is so well done, you fear every enemy in every moment. But it's never unfair to you, though. What I love about this game, is the fact, that it's varied throughout. You learn a lot about ancient myths (try Wikipedia), get to many different places. Egypt, earth, heaven and at least hell. The only thing I ever hated was one of the last puzzles in Scheol. It's a simple switch puzzle that has cost me ages to solve, or maybe I'm just not talented enough for pushing switches. But this game was so good, that I've chosen my nickname for the www from ROTH. And I kept it for 13 years now. ROTH was my perfect game experience. You must play it!
