This game is absolutely phenomenal, it might be the most disturbing game in the franchise if not in general! Story is fantastic, as expected from a Silent Hill game - same with the soundtrack which only adds to the disturbing, creepy atmosphere. Gameplay is definitely rough at parts especially in the 2nd half of the game BUT it's nowhere near as bad as people say - if you're familiar with oldschool clunky survival-horror games you shouldn't have too many issues here, just gotta get used to the combat (utilise fully charged attacks as much as you can, makes it much easier) I love this game and will never understand the hate it gets, it doesn't deserve it at all. Also I'm extremely happy to have a legitimate, fantastic PC port now with all the hauntings restored too, thanks GOG! <3
Doesn't get much better than this, one of the best first person shooters ever made. Aged beautifully well especially with this Nightdive Studios remaster. It's just pure fun.
