Kingdoms and Castles

solid

while it not got terrain elevation , it leets you play around with its segment fortification mechanics and city/resources infrastructure to your hearts content along with some basic rts mechanics to round it all out well worth a buy if you like other stronghold 1 lovers have an itch for another game leeting you tinker with ensuring a city is happy to provide you manpower to keep it safe.. or counqer your neighbours tip though is to get a mod for larger maps or it might feel a bit cramped

The Riftbreaker

its good for what it is

i am no coder , so while my preferences for scale or such might be personal first , tldr , delightful mix of easy rts and easy third person combat with a light splash of story ,but mechanic hampering design of gameplay space and player janitor style time wasting way that contradicts the setting to handle a lot of ingame dynamic effects example thoughts , maps tiny , build in center if your gona stay at any outpost , wich leads to the second map problem ...very repetetive map sculpting wich ties into the third , on one hand despite teleporting around even tiny rocks can block a build space , or how for example once you seen three ravine shapes you seen them all and you never gona make a rad bridge over one with howitzer turrets on the sides and a cool gate ,because its all decorative nothing else to mention some of the 'mood killer' details wich i am sure not was intended , but still is there and due to having such big inffluence on the other mechanuics of the game.. is sort of fun killing :/ ohh , also , just switch tornados and that crap of if you plan to play without mods 8/10 destructive 'nature disasters' is either set to spawn ontop player heads EVERY TIME for 'challange' or is designed to be one shooting your base power nodes wich might be added without mods is so flimsy its silly considering despite supposed A.I assistance and nano construction you only got 'repair' towers , all rebuilding is done janitor style aka manually!

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

loved it....but play it while you can.

Used to play it a lot when i bought it , then some time went by for work... and i found out it started glitch out , break and other such things.... despite being made for windows 7 , apparatenly it was not even worth to keep those scripts in a legazy folder to still be around as it was 'patched' and now you cant play it at all acording to it self unless you download some extra software to 'mimic' ...App's.... i know microsoft is pushing ther overgrown phone app for a os down everyones throat the last years but i realy loath it when something that was made to work for windows 7 or linux things structured like proper os's ...dont... anymore , its like buying a dam car and discovering the car salesman snuck into your garage at night and replaced the wheels and bolts so it dont matches what you got in the toolbox anymore :/

Frostpunk

Great fundation game...insecure details

Good game , and the 'standard' model of it includes what should be the obligatory set of ''story laced scenarios & heres the game without any win condition...play for ever if you want'' for a city/survival title like this. It got spot on ambiance , badass music intuitive controlls and very logical..and at times ruthless ingame mechanics....but... The second you look around its menus your being slapped in the face with various areas thats 'locked of'..with built in 'go to store page' shortcuts.. for that it loses 3 stars and do thus fall down on a meager 2 in rating for me despite its stellar content and rock solid UI....simply because if there is one thing I hate to see...so is it allready pree built 'infrastructure' in a product for things thats not Included when I buy it. And this makes me Hesitating to buy anything more of them..specialy when seeing 'season passes'' Since those are infamus to not be worth ther price....or to be a method trying to hold the 'additonal content' hostage for a customer through drm.

Overlord II

Overlord 2...or 1 ?

loved the concept of the first 2 games..... Positives of Overlord 2. 1It retains the core game play that was the fundation of the first game. 2the addition of minion 'sprawles' with a reaper servant leeting you resurect those lvl 10 minions that you spent the last 2 houers looting armor & weapons from fights with etc is a very neat addition. 3It got delicious ambiance & music Negatives of OVerlord 2. 1The gear customisation mechanics of the first game is replaced by a 'ladder' progresion of preset gear you can buy/make in your armory. 2Your spells is far lees a versetile edge for your overlord and more a 'utility' tool for your minions and your minions only..no minions to spare = extremly limited use of your spells aka no classic fireballs here. 3compared to the first game..the 'window' to explore the game world once you 'found' the last minion type to circomvent all kinds of enviroment hinders is very..very..short. so all in all , a garantie to be a joy t oplay ,it only lost 1 star on my part due to how the extremly customisation inviting mechanics for your gear and more 'diverse' spell choises in the first game not could be found in this one.
