The value you get for the price is amazing, I don't understand how this is not at least 30 bucks. Parts of it feel like "Getting Over It", you know that annoying game where you climb with a sledgehammer. But beyond that it's the same quality of the previous installment gameplay was, streamlined, less grindy, with more focus on level design. Just buy it.
I have never played a game with better melee combat. Combat animations let you feel the weight of the weapon you are wielding, dodging and blocking is manual. Dismemberment and gore level is very satisfying (has parental controls too). Lighting and shadows are way beyond any game of it's time. Such a shame the company who made this classic went bankrupt while working on the sequel. If you are sick and tired of button mashing fantasy games of today, give this game a chance, I'm still playing it after all these years and enjoying it a lot more than any blockbuster title today.
