Pathfinder: Kingmaker

Not bad at all, but could be better

First the good. It's pathfinder. The NPCs are generally ok, I like the system, and the setting. Then the ok: It's long - so you can spend a lot of time exploring, and levelling up, and killing all those pesky evil peoples and critters. Especially slavers. There's a bunch of them to kill., and one should not stint on doing so. Travel is such a pain. Make sure you level up the villages so you can build teleportation gates! Dispelling AOE spells. So annoying that you can't do this. But never fear, there's a nexus mod that lets you do this. Rotating the view: This really stands out as it was resolved in WotRighteous - again, there's a nexus mod you can fix this on Then the not so good: There are hidden timelines that can catch you unawares. Make sure you progress your kindgom, and main plot lines, and check the 'how many days remaning. Otherwise your kingdom might be entirely destroyed and you die. That early encounter with the swarms. It will mess you up if you don't have an excess of area affect potions/flasks/spells. I've been TPKO'd that one and it was so annoying For all the only ok and not so good, I'm still back playing it through for the fourth time now. It's at it's best if you mod it, so don't be afraid to do so. It will make a big difference
