This game is a true gem amongs all the TBS out there. I will be talking, wihtout taking the consideration and changes from the first game, because the previous part is very different, compared to this one. First of all, the difficult level is increased, especially if you play your 1st walktrough with War of the Chosen. They make the game much, much harder, because they can pop-up any time to one of your missions and they can be quite hard to beat. This is why you find yourself first of all to deal with them and then focus on the other objectives. Once in their lair, they are not hard to kill, especially with skilled operators. You should really focus on that to keep your soldiers alive every time. It will be much more costly if you loose a soldier. Better give them a well deserved rest and be careful wich soldiers class you bond. Bond soldiers get good bonuses and they are very handy, especially against The Chosen. Because the difficulty, I have found myself, especially the first 20-25 hours constantly loading almost every turn. The game makes your life really hard, especially if you customized your characters and you want to keep them alive. Yes, the customization of the characters are great and there a lot of varieties. The special operatives from Factions are great units, altho it would be great to be easier to recruit them. Two reapers in one mission are a deadly duo and make your life much easier, especially if you need to fast infiltrate enemy point of interest, destroy it and come back. I strongly recommend to play this game if you are fan of TBS. My only playthrough hooked me for about 50-55 hours. It was an amazing experience.
No matter what someone will tell you, this game is pure example of revolution and a gem. Everything that evolved from the previous game was a welcome. The multi-player in LAN - PvP and Co-op are an amazing experience. You can literally remember moments 20 years ago. Yes, this game is old, but it's still fun as it used to be! I remember how I re-played my 1st mission - the one with the Pyramids. Amazing.
Spore, the game that makes you create all kind of magical and freaky creatures that you can imagine from your sick mind. Really. Some of the creations from people are so sick, that your mouth is constancly opened while watching these abonimations. Of course, most of them no matter how freaky they look, they are adorable and cute. This is a game for creations mostly. So big part of the gameplay is creating and modifying your creature, buildings, vehicles and etc. There are 5 stages of evolution. 1. Micro. 2. Pack. 3. Tribe. 4. Civilization. 5. Space. For me personally the best stages are 1st and 2nd. Why? Because the game is made for them. It is not rushed, it is simple, funny and creative. Your and all other creatures just blen in the atmosphere. 3rd stage is maybe the most rushed one. Why? I've passed it within an hour as far as I remember. Without destroying a single tribe from the others. All you need to do is pet maximum some wild creatures and they will give you eggs-food. With high food siply you can do whatever you want. The easiest way is to give food to other tribes and they won't attack you. Then it is easy to make them friends and aly. 4th stage is when things really started to be broken. The whole game conception is so much different of what you have seen on previous stages, that you will feel that you don't play the same game again. You are trown in a lot of creating stuff for your civilization that you will spend a lot of time there, unless you make it fast and simple. 5th stage is where everything is wrong. But the conception is good enough. But badly done. So we can see when the developers had their time of programming and etc. 1st and 2nd stage they were in the beginning and they had time so everything is awesome, 3rd stage is like - ok we need to go fast. 4th and 5th stage they saw they don't have much time and started to rush things up. So overall it is between 3,5 Stars, so 4 to summarize. Funny and creative game to play. Thank you
The memories with this game are so many. The first time I had encountered this game, I went to a LAN party with my brother with his friends. We connected two PCs and we were playing all night long. We were like 4-5 people and take turns. I am amazed how a tactical shooter can be so addictive, with such good graphics, thanks to Unreal Engine, good sounds and mucis, gameplay mechanics and literally I don't remember this game crash, like ever. MAYBE few times, but really this game is a massive one and it won't bother you with stupid bugs and stuff like that. You can make your custom missions and set the morale to enemies and how many they're and how many hsotages there will be. So I strongly suggest you get that game with 1 or 2-3 more friends and play it together in a co-op.
