The devs added the latest updates, it's on par with the Steam version.
Still remember the countless hours of fun this game gave me in the time, all those LAN parties laughing with friends and those competitive online matches where you sweet every bullet. The game has some really solid shooting mechanics, with a variety of maps to play and some really fun ones, it's fast paced, and interesting, plus has graphics that conserved the charm from the day, yet now you can play it without burn your computer. Certified classic, 10/10, or 5 stars of 5 stars!
Play the original vanilla game first. This mod is very well done and help those who are looking for an updated game version with more modern mechanics, the problem is that for make that possible had to make some changes. Play it, is really good and you won't probably come back to the original game after that, that is why it's so important you play the original first, live the classic charm ;)
This game is really good I have to say it, short but really good, I read some reviews that claim that the game freezes after you die, but I haven't experience any of this problems, the combat is really good and really difficult at times, has some good platforming sections and challenging bosses, a great pixel art and amazing metal soundtrack, this game reminds me a lot to Castlevania SotN and that's a great thing. I really recommend this game!!! Perfect for a sale!!!
Metro Last Light has an incredible atmosphere, oppressing, danger and captivating, many STALKER's developers work in this game and it show, once you enter the metro you will be part of it's world, a world that is dying but still feels alive, with a lot of interesting characters, a rich story and an inedible gameplay, where you can choose between stealth or pure action, both work very good. The game has incredible graphics that looks awesome even to this day (except for the faces), a masterful guitar soundtrack, simple but that fits like a glove for the game. So, to resume, play this game, you won't regret it and if you don't have the other you should consider to purchase them too, because Metro Series are one of the best franchises in gaming.
I played this game and the first one (X-Blade) on my PS3, both are really good games, are simple, just some battle arenas with a basic Devil May Cry combat, a cliché and predictable story about light and darkness with a lot of fan service (just look at the cover of the game or search in google the cover of X-Blade), and could be very repetitive at times, but you know what? They are extremely fun!!! That's the important, buy the game, you won't regret it.
When I saw the announcement trailer one year ago, the game don't catch my attention, but after I play this demo I have to say that I loved, the game is just awesome!!! It's heartwarming, full of charm, and personality, I really looking forward to the full release!!! PS: I notice a very small problem, I always pet the cat when I try to enter/exit a room.
At the time of this review, May 9th, the game is DRM Free, the problems with the Season Pass has been fixed, YOU HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE DLC CONTENT WITHOUT ONLINE REQUIREMENTS, I try to edit my review in the Deluxe Edition but I couldn't. I tested the game in 3 of my computers, one with a 1080Ti, one with a 1050Ti and the last one with a RX 570, I don't experience any stuttering or crashing in the game using DX11, but I have quite a few with DX12, so 11 is my recomendation. Game Review: The game takes part in Praga, 2 years after Human Revolution, Adam Jensen is part of the TF29, an elite squad of the Interpol. As a direct consequences of the event of Human Revolution, the world experience a hate to augmented citizens and the fear of a new attack create an apartheid between normal people and augmented ones. The game have several options to resolve the missions, a history well told, and some likeable characters, with an stunishing graphics and art direction, that recreate a Praga that evolve and change with the players action. It's true to say that is not as good as Human Revolution, but is and great game, a very fun one, that I totally recomend for every player.
