NWN2 is arguablythe most underrated RPG in the history of the top down RPG genre. It was BG3, 20 years ago. It has its flaws, like all games. The choices you make could be more impactful, the combat could have been a little more advanced, but the characters, customization, ability to create any character you want, and interactions between companions, was years ahead of its time. Even now, 20 years later, it's still an excellent game that holds up surprisingly well.
