Improves the original game in every way plus the new classes give a reason to play this even more than normally.
While frustrating and quite hard at some points, the game is still the kind of Diablo game we all know and love.
Two hours in and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. This game is exactly what I expected and doesn't disappoint. Will have to get used to controls again, but that's just my problem. Bosses are challenging and require swift movements and good strategy. I can already tell I will enjoy this game all the way to the end and I'm sure everyone else will too.
This game, while looking quite the same as Jedi Outcast, manages to improve on most areas. While this is a sequel to Jedi Outcast, I love the idea that you actually now make your own MC and even build your own lightsaber. What's more, you actually decide the order in which to do missions and what Force powers to upgrade so you can actually get the... "build" you want before actually finishing the first set of missions. The only thing I wish this game had more of would have been decisions between light and dark to actually feel more immersive and impactful. Considering the year this game came out, though, I guess I can understand why that's not a thing here. Still would have been great. Still, I highly recommend this game.
Played this on Steam, but I can honestly say this is a fun game. A bit frustrating at times, but fun. There are two things stopping this from getting five stars. Most weapons feel very bad and the only ones worth using are the sniper rifle, explosive weapons and of course the main weapon of the game, lightsaber. The second thing is the fact until you DO get the lightsaber the game feels really hard and quite annoying. Other than those, this game is worth playing.
I have played this several times and it was such a refreshing game after playing other first-person shooters. And now, even after 9 years and having a sequel, this game STILL feels like a breath of fresh air. High adrenaline gameplay, great music, an okay story (let's face it, that's not the main thing here at all). Feels like Doom, plays like Doom, it is by all accounts a game that every Doom fan would want to AND SHOULD play (and probably already has).
