Silver and I: a love story My dad bought me this game when it came out (i was 10 years old). It was one of my first RPG-ever, played it and dropp it just before the first boss because i can't finish a room (this one, with a red-wizard goblin who resurect stone golems). After a few weeks i restart the game and i made it and eventually finishied it. For is time, Silver was great, let's see why: The graphics: they are a mix between precalculated landscapes and 3D models (just like FFVII). Today the characters looks old, but landscapes are pleasant to see. The story: It was and still very (too?) classic but story-telling is pretty good with memorables characters and some interistings twists. What about the sound? Well i can't judge the english voice-acting because i'm French (so sorry for my mistakes), but our voice-acting was amazing, and this original soundtrack....pure gold, i still remember some themes (Bosses and final confrontation essentially) . Each music fit pefectly with his environment. Gameplay: Unique RPG slash and action hybrid: combat system is clever : ctrl+ moving your mouse forward= Stab, Ctrl+moving your mouse on the left or the right=slash..... Each magic spells has 3 levels of power and can be used for attack or defense (so each spells got 6 variations in theory.) Your arsenal will grow throught the entire game. Dont forget some artifcats and potions. In brief : lot of possibilities.
