A nostalgic game for me. Ive never played other Settlers games. So when it went on summer sale i had to get it! I just downloaded it and tried it out because i was hesitant as some reviews had said the game didnt even work for them on Windows 10. Good news is that my game seemed to work on my Windows 10 PC and i quickly tried up to the 4th mission just to be sure. So the game i have at least works. But is it the version i ordered? I have no idea. When i installed the game i used the "setup_settlers6_gold_edition_2.1.0.5" and then i also ran "patch_settlers6_gold_edition_2.1.0.5" . It installed, however when i ran the game, the menu screen says at the bottom "Limited Edition". Which from what ive read doesnt contain an expansion pack. So i am a little confused and not sure what version i was sold by GOG. Also the version of the game states "1.71.4289" and i dont see mention of "2.1.0.5" So these are the files i received from the download: patch_settlers6_gold_edition_2.1.0.5 settlers_rise_of_an_empire_gold_edition_manual setup_settlers6_gold_edition_2.1.0.5 setup_settlers6_gold_edition_2.1.0.5-1.bin Do i need to do anything different to check or install the Gold Edition that i placed the order for? Or was i sold the incorrect version?!? I would give it 5 stars if it was the game i ordered, but the lack of clarity about the version sold loses some stars!
