It must be opened as an administrator with windows 98me compatibility. Once this, you must choose the 800 resolution option plus the high resolution. - Regarding the game and its importance :: Without a doubt, it is a hidden gem. Perhaps it has been distorted by its successor, but the new nightmare is a Lovecraftian proposal with hundreds of references to the occult. I could compare it more with an eternal darkness, but the new nightmare is more action horror game, such as the RE series. Atmosphericly it's great, and it's definitely in my top 3, along with RE 2-3 and Silent Hill in that time.
The game is extremely original. From the management of diseases and crazy treatments, to the attachments or buildings of the hospital. It is worth mentioning that what I liked the most about the game in my childhood was that satirical and parodic touch. Truly a hidden gem of the pc!
