I think the current press and gamers have taken this installment as "the game that ended it all". Totally wrong. It is a special installment, which tried to explore other paths, such as shattered memories, for my taste it was very innovative. It is well worth it, the dimness of the room generates a spectral atmosphere in few games seen before. I liked the script, the damned, the beautiful music and very melancholy horrifying. For me, it is a privilege to have him. Thank you GOG, and I hope you and KONAMI release more titles like these lost treasures.
It is a very revolutionary collection for the 90s. Before Martian demons, the Nazis had to be humiliated, why not? A must for any collection. I've been lost in the labyrinths of this pair of games, with almost 80 levels, it's anachronistic fun guaranteed!
It's a shame they release a port like this. I understand that they have already patched previously, however, I share my tests with the community: 1.- The XBOX ONE control is compatible, however the pause is right on the joystick button (movement). 2.- Luckily I had a genesis control somewhere, it works very well. 3.- Requires backwards compatibility with xp. 4.- Finally, it has a blur screen, which requires removing the super configuration from my AMD (which I never did since I was lazy). It's a great game that doesn't deserve this kind of adaptation, least of all for the PC, which has such a loyal audience.
I think it captures a lot of the sense of psychological terror. It is as if it were an open letter, where you go choosing and imagining the sad and macabre story of the protagonist. A different point and click reminded me a lot for his ingenuity of the bulb boy. I bought this edition, the collections one, during this time of year (halloween). I think I made a great decision, totally recommended!

When I found out that the first game in the Kain series was on GOG, I couldn't believe it. It is a must have in your collection. It is about the Nosgoth principle, a gothic and bloody land, where time and space break apart. You are Kain, a vampire who seeks revenge for corruption and betrayal. Simply put, it is one of the most interesting bets in the world of video games, a mix that takes the best of many things from its time, like Diablo, but manages to generate its own personality. Silicon Knights, was always characterized by dedicating a lot of aesthetics in its games, and in Blood Omen they went further. The performances of the voices, the music, the art, the jubilation, for me are sensational. An RPG masterpiece. And what about the story, totally a narrative bet also very interesting, where prolepsis and analepsis play a key piece to understand and break with the watchful eye of destiny. Nothing pretentious, and done with a lot of passion. For me this saga. it marked the beginning of many things in my life. I hope and others, enjoy drinking from this fountain of blood! Vae Victis!
One of the best RPG so far. The creativity in terms of narrative is sublime. Undoubtedly, the developer not only offers an entertaining experience, it goes further. It is simply a work of art.

Brilliant and terrifying second part of the saga. Without a doubt, this genre of mixture between survival horror and hack and slash was very new for its time. Now, as for the game, it is a craft with a lot of spirit. From the music and the stages, the atmosphere is enveloping, the protagonist continues to be trapped, in the dilemma of revenge and sacrifice. Undoubtedly, not so praised in its time, this game is about a hidden gem, a proposal which has stood the test of time. Lastly, the port is undoubtedly very playable, and you can adapt the controls to your liking. Graphically it looks amazing. A must for lovers of horror and horror.
