This game was released in 1996 and it's basically and updated version of the previous year's franchise installment. The visuals here are simple but smooth, it has that good old mid 90s look I enjoy so much, and you probably do too if you have a GOG account. Gameplay-wise, this game is frantic and unforgiving. Sometimes, it feels like a subliminal text is shooting on your screen every 15 seconds, with big shiny letters saying "MODERN FOOTBALL SUCKS". There was no DLC boost back then, so you better pass that ball and stop whining about your filthy pinkie's broken nail. The only cons I can talk about are technical. I have no problems to play it on my Win 7, though, it's just a few small details that don't really affect the experience. This is truly a satisfying game, suited both for casual and hardcore players. If you like Cristiano's haircut, don't ever talk to me. However, If you like sports and football, get this game and a sixpack of cheap beer as soon as possible, you won't regret it.
