This is hands down the best Robocop game adaptation. The world feels exactly the way it is portrayed in the movies - a corporate run distopia. The visuals are fantastic - Unreal Engine 5 really shines in this title. The sound is exciting - every step, every shot sounds and feels heavy. The gameplay is excellent - Robo feels powerful but not unkillable. Overall this game is excellent. I have a few small gripes with it - there's quite a lot of exposition and it is a very story driven title. But that's really not the games issue, it's a matter of personal preference. The skills that you can choose from are also slightly boring, but that's because they obviously tried to have a grounded approach to Robo's strenghts and abilities. I would totally recommend this to both fans of the franchise and newcomers. It doesn't hurt to watch the movies before playing the game but it's not necessary in order to understand the story. If you're wondering whether to buy this game - just do it, you won't regret it.
When it came out the graphics of this game were stunning. It holds up well to this day. Gameplay-wise it's much better than the first game, though it's not as good as the 3rd entry. It's one of these games that you have to play at least twice to get all of the chapters because where you go and what you do in chapter 2 depends on your decisions in the first chapter. The music, the general feel of the game are excellent. The narrative is really good.
