This game is a wonderful story that never outstays its welcome. It is simple to play, but you always enjoy when you figure out the puzzles. Amazing voicing and good music. The characters are fantastically written. A great recoomend for fans of The Wicker Man
I recently played through this. While I can agree on the lack of content in the later eras, everything else that the game gets critizied for, I think add to the experience. Seriously - try this game and no guide. Take your time and enjoy the experience.
This and Kingmaker is the true good RPGs on the market right now. Not afraid to trust their players with challenging and complicating rules, great companions and replayability. Already on my second playthrough, this is great!
