I really enjoyed my time with The Excavation of Hob's Barrow. It's short but sweet, part cozy, part spooky, in short I loved it. If you enjoy point and click adventure games that don't waste your time with overly obtuse moon logic puzzles and pixel hunting then you'll enjoy this game.
I've literally been playing Diablo since it originally came out and it still hasn't gotten old. Easily one of my all time favorite games ever made. Highly recommended.
So the game itself is a classic, nothing wrong there. But I am having issues where everytime I launch the game I get FMV sounds but then when I load into the game itself I have to Alt+Tab to get the game audio to come through my speakers. Similarly my DS4 controller seems to arbitrarily disconnect after playing for awhile and then the game refuses to reestablish a connection with the controller unless I shut it down an relaunch it. If GOG can address and fix these issues I'll update my review to the 5 stars this game deserves.
