It's not the voice acting I have a problem with, but the glibness of the characters as they were written. They're way too casual feeling, and that's probably because they're gods or something. I've never been able to get past that. Eventually I will really give this game a go but it's fallen down hard, as I'd rather play other things first.

As far as I know, ever since I began this game, I've loved it. I bought it first for PS2, then I bought it for the 360 (backwards compatible) just to play on the gamepad. Now I'm thinking of playing it again on the computer. The game is amazing. The story and voice-acting are amazing. Don't go by the movie. This is superior in every way, from the challenging-but-fair levels to the awesome fights, this is one game that got everything right.

In my eyes, Planetscape Torment is probably the best old-school RPG that GOG offers. With the tight combat, and a great intriguing story, this is a game that you can truly get into without having to worry about death. Start it up, and enjoy the story: that's what it's there for.

I have not finished this game. Despite this, I really like what I've seen so far. The story seems really cool, the comic intro is a great hook, and the story is fairly linear. There's no pathfinding issues, though it may take a while to figure things out, though that's with any game.
